Job summary

United Surgical Partners International (USPI) is hiring a Lead Anesthesia Technologist for Pediatric Surgery Center-Tampa. The role supports anesthesia providers in the OR, manages airways and IVs, and ensures supplies and equipment are ready for pediatric procedures in an ambulatory setting.

Requirements include High School Diploma or Equivalent, anesthesia tech training, BLS, and 2+ years’ experience. You will work with physicians and staff to deliver safe, efficient care across departments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Anesthesia Tech training.
• BLS certification required.
• Two years experience as Anesthesia Tech.
• Good communication with physicians, staff and patients.
• Understands operation of anesthesia machines, monitors, CO2 analyzers, and O2 sat analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesia providers in the OR with airway management and IVs.
• Respond and assist in emergencies.
• Order, stock and maintain anesthesia supplies.
• Maintain anesthesia machines, crash carts & malignant hyperthermia carts daily.
• Respond to emergencies in other departments.
• Assist in other departments as needed.
• Assist with positioning patients for surgical procedures.
