Job summary

Explore and Discover Early Learning Center is seeking experienced Lead and Assistant Daycare Teachers to join our team. You will foster children’s cognitive, social, and physical growth in a nurturing environment.

The ideal candidate is patient, creative, and reliable with strong communication skills and experience in developmentally appropriate activities. Certification in first aid/CPR is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as a daycare teacher or childcare provider
• Lead teacher credentials as listed (45 hour infant/toddler or PreK and 45 hour Child Growth and Development, ADA)
• Strong understanding of child development
• Patient, kind, and nurturing
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
• First aid/CPR certified (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Plan games and activities that are developmentally appropriate
• Design a daily and weekly schedule
• Provide basic care and caregiving activities
• Evaluate children to ensure they are reaching developmental milestones
• Communicate with parents and update them on their children’s activities
