Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in an analytical field (statistics, applied mathematics, CS, engineering, economics, physics, etc.) or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years leading analytics & data science groups, mentoring senior ICs.
• 5+ years proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Strong querying/manipulation of large datasets on cloud platforms (Databricks, Spark-SQL, Airflow).
• Solid foundation in statistics and data visualization.
• Experience with A/B testing and sampling methods.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Play a hands-on analytical role in early months, then transition to leading a team of data analysts and scientists.
• Develop understanding of customers, products, and business performance to inform decisions.
• Act as trusted advisor to Product, Marketing, GTM, PLG, and Engineering to guide the roadmap with data-driven insights.
• Partner with leadership to shape analytics and experimentation strategy for Firefly.
• Identify risks and opportunities and prioritize initiatives to drive business growth.
• Define key measurements and monitor product performance and health.
• Collaborate to roadmap analytics initiatives delivering business value.
• Perform deep dives, build predictive models and dashboards for insights.
• Deliver actionable recommendations to improve product and business outcomes.
• Improve reporting and data tools to empower data-driven decision-making.
