**ADP** is hiring a **Lead Analytical Data Engineer** for our newly formed HR Outsourcing (HRO) Data and Analytics organization. The **Lead Analytical Data Engineer** will play a key role in growing our analytics engineering team and collaborating with cross-functional groups to address complex business needs. We seek a self-motivated, analytical professional who can act as both a player and a coach across multiple workstreams. The role requires strong technical skills, a passion for data & analytics, and leadership capabilities.

**Responsibilities:**

  1. Develop strategic data solutions for high-return projects.
  2. Document analytics and automation processes, recommending improvements.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders to create roadmaps and execute projects in an agile environment.
  4. Lead the development of data tables and ensure structured, quality data ingestion.
  5. Partner with data governance teams to streamline integration and ensure security.
  6. Research and recommend new technologies for scaling and growth.
  7. Prioritize and deliver on business needs and ad hoc requests.
  8. Ensure quality assurance and data integrity.
  9. Iterate solutions based on feedback, moving from v0.5 to v1.0+.
  10. Leverage a strong track record of delivery and change management.

**Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, statistics, or related; advanced degrees preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in data analytics, engineering, and project management.
  • 3+ years working in a matrix organization leading teams toward use case goals.
  • Deep experience with ETL, Data Modeling, Data Architecture.
  • Background in PEO, Service, Risk analytics, or similar fields is a plus.
  • Proven ability to lead data projects addressing complex business challenges.
  • Hands-on experience with data warehouses/lakes, big data tech (Hadoop, Spark, DataBricks).
  • Expertise in building and maintaining data pipelines with tools like Git, Jenkins.
  • Strong data analytics skills, including data mining and modeling.

**Preferred Skills:**

  • Proficiency with DataBricks, Spark, PySpark, Python, SQL.
  • AWS certifications and experience are highly desirable.
  • Experience developing frameworks, monitoring, and managing production pipelines.
  • Knowledge of various data storage solutions: RDBMS, Hive, HBase, NoSQL.
  • Familiarity with project management tools like Jira, Confluence.
  • Experience as a data solutions architect is a plus.
  • Cloud database experience, especially in AWS.
  • Understanding of MLOps, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
