Johnson & Johnson MedTech is seeking a Lead Analyst for Data Product & Marketplace Lifecycle to own the end-to-end data asset lifecycle within the Alation Marketplace framework. You will deconstruct outbound requirements, package data into consumer-ready products, oversee onboarding workflows, and serve as the daily business partner to IT/engineering teams implementing APIs and marketplace connectivity.

The Lead Analyst, is responsible for the end-to-end business lifecycle of our data assets within the Alation Data Marketplace framework and is the tactical product owner responsible for deconstructing outbound functional requirements, packaging data into consumer-ready products, leading onboarding workflows, and serving as the daily business counterpart to IT/JJT engineering teams implementing downstream API and marketplace connectivity.

Key Role Responsibilities

Alation Marketplace Lifecycle Ownership: Own the management of data products within the Alation Marketplace leading all aspects of onboarding, access workflows, consumer readiness, and lifecycle governance.
Functional Requirement Deconstruction: Directly parter with downstream data scientists, business units, and clinical application teams to deconstruct their data consumption needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Gold Layer Semantic Alignment: Define the business rules for cross-domain data aggregations and calculated metrics, confirming technical Gold-layer models match consumer specifications.

Qualifications

Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
Required Experience: Proven track record in business systems analysis, functional product management, or technical business analysis within a regulated framework.
Sophisticated proficiency in Agile tools (Jira, Confluence); direct operational experience demonstrating data catalog marketplaces (specifically Alation Data Marketplace); capability with a validated curiosity about bridging the gap between highly development teams and business consumers.

Other Requirements

This role may require up to 10% of domestic and/or international travel based on business needs.
The attendance policy for this role is fully onsite

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$94,000.00 to $133,518.00
