Job summary

Molina Healthcare is seeking a Lead Health Data Analyst to provide analytics support for provider data management (PDM) activities. You will analyze complex healthcare datasets, identify trends, and translate business needs into functional specifications while driving process improvements.

You will train and guide the PDM team, develop best practices, and lead cross-functional projects to ensure timely delivery and high-quality outcomes across departments.

Qualifications

  • At least 6 years of business analytics experience in health care or equivalent.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Presentation and interpersonal skills, and ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong critical-thinking skills, and attention to detail.
  • Organizational and time-management skills; ability to manage simultaneous projects and tasks to meet internal deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Microsoft Office suite (including advanced Excel) and applicable software program(s) proficiency.

  • Leads discussions with stakeholders - seeking to understand business objectives, gathering requirements, and translating business needs into comprehensive business and functional specifications.
  • Analyzes complex health care data sets using Databricks to identify trends and patterns; communicates insights and recommendations that drive informed decision-making and process improvements.
  • Identifies inefficiencies in existing departmental processes; develops new solutions and drives key stakeholders to adopt and execute those solutions.
  • Leads and supports cross-functional projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
  • Establishes and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and collaboration across departments.
  • Develops and presents key metrics, performance indicators, and actionable insights to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
