Job summary

Quantem Aviation Services, LLC seeks a Lead Ramp Agent (part-time) to join our Salt Lake City team at SLC. You will supervise and coach peers, ensure safe aircraft service, and keep cargo and passengers moving smoothly and on time.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading freight, maintaining safety standards, and coordinating with ground crews. A high school diploma, valid driver’s license, ability to obtain a SIDA badge, and English proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, understand and follow English instructions.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a SIDA airport badge.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds and climb ladders as required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coach peers as a Lead Ramp Agent.
• Ensure safe aircraft services and on-time movement of passengers and cargo.
• Load and unload freight, build/break down cargo pallets, and protect cargo from damage.
• Maintain safety standards and operate equipment as trained.
• Complete required training and follow all safety procedures.

Position Overview:

A Lead is a subject matter expert who coaches, motivates and guides operational work performed by their peers. Leads are responsible for monitoring and reporting any extraordinary performance or deviations from operational standards. As a Lead Ramp Agent, you will work as part of a team delivering safe and efficient aircraft services will providing highest level of customer service, keeping passenger and aircraft moving safely and on time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):

• Ensures all QAS and customer safety standards are met and maintained
• Properly and safely loads and unloads freight. Including build up and break down of cargo pallets and freight containers following guidelines
• Protects freight from elements, damage and vandalism
• Holds equipment certifications and operates equipment safely
• Must successfully complete all training classes

Required Skills and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Maintain and treat all information as confidential
• Possess the tact to deal with all levels of employees and client representatives
• Must be able to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English
• Must be able to verbally direct in English
• A valid driver’s license is required for this position Must have or be able to obtain a SIDA airport badge

• Must be able to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; speak and hear efficiently
• Able to lift, push, pull up to 75 pounds at times
• Ability to climb ladders of up to 15 feet in height
