Job summary

Sedona Digital is seeking a Senior AL Developer to drive the evolution of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environment. You will own BC development, design new functionality, and build integrations to ensure scalable, reliable solutions.

This hands-on role focuses on AL, extensions, data structures, and APIs. You will collaborate with internal teams, mentor junior developers, and help define technical standards for our BC landscape.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Dynamics 365 Business Central development experience.
• Strong AL development experience and BC extensions.
• Experience designing integrations using REST APIs, web services, and JSON.
• Proficient with VS Code and AL tooling; proficient with Git-based source control and CI/CD.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain BC solutions and extensions using AL.
• Build new functionality and enhance existing BC applications based on internal needs.
• Develop and maintain tables, pages, codeunits, reports, queries, APIs, and extensions.
• Design and maintain integrations between BC and other systems via APIs and web services.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, perform root-cause analysis, and optimize performance.
• Manage lifecycle of BC solutions: development, testing, releases, upgrades, deployments.
• Ensure development follows BC/AL best practices including extension-based architecture and docs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify improvements and evolve BC capabilities.
