Job summary

Covenant Aviation Security is seeking a Site Security Manager for the Portland, OR area. The role directs all security programs under 49 CFR Part 1542 and collaborates with airport authorities, TSA, and local officials to ensure compliance and operational excellence.

The candidate will supervise Supervisors, manage staffing and budgeting, and coordinate with various agencies to uphold security standards and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; seven years aviation/security mgmt may substitute.
• DPSST Supervisory/Executive Manager Certification required.
• ACE Certification desirable within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee security operations through Supervisors and ensure program compliance.
• Plan and schedule staffing; manage budgets and resource allocation.
• Interact with airport authorities, agencies and stakeholders to maintain security objectives.
