Job summary

Dassault Falcon Jet in Arkansas is seeking a Team Leader to manage a painting team and aircraft, ensuring quality while controlling costs and meeting schedules. The Team Leader directs team members, coordinates with other departments, and serves as the official management contact for their team.

The role requires leadership, strong problem-solving, and the ability to read and apply technical manuals and FAA regulations.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• 5 years of aircraft painting experience.
• Previous leadership experience.
• Ability to read, write and understand technical information contained in aircraft maintenance manuals, vendor documentation and engineering documents and to use this information to assist team members in all paint processes.
• Ability to solve problems and thereby facilitate achievement of the departmental mission.
• Knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations that address aircraft maintenance (FAR Part 43 & 145).
• Ability to climb 20-foot work stands with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Requires walking, climbing and standing for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Obtain and maintain respirator clearance with facial hair restriction.

Responsibilities

• Plan, train and lead a team to complete a high-quality aircraft within the allocated budget and on or ahead of schedule.
• Ensure that time is spent with each team member on each AC to ensure that quality, safety and procedures are being followed on an hourly basis.
• Fill out and monitor each hourly employee on an hourly basis by using the Paint Team Lead Employee audit form.
• The Team Leader is expected to be in the bay the majority of their shift coaching, reviewing, and inspecting the work being performed during the prepping and painting process.
• Ensure team conformance to existing Company policies and Departmental procedures.
• Administer vacations, EO, sick time usage, etc.
• Maintain good team relationships by communicating with the team.
• Provide the team with a clean and safe work environment.
