Job summary

Air National Guard Units in Milwaukee seeks an Aircraft Mechanic (Title 32) to lead maintenance, inspections and airworthiness certification on complex military aircraft. You will direct crew chiefs and oversee journeyman work, ensuring FMC and mission readiness for AEW/AEF operations worldwide.

Job involves preflight/postflight/through flight inspections, documentation accuracy, and training of a 3-8 person team.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining military aircraft and performing inspections.
• Ability to work under time/mission constraints.
• Familiarity with maintenance documentation and MIS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Directs and performs maintenance, servicing, inspections and documentation for one or more aircraft.
• Oversees and coordinates work of subordinate mechanics and other trades on the aircraft.
• Plans and conducts training sessions and Cross Utilization Training for staff.
• Participates in readiness evaluations, mobilization, and special operations support.
