Job summary

Guardian Flight is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician in Wichita, KS to maintain and support the King Air C90 airframe, ensuring safety and timely transport services.

Qualified candidates have two years turboprop/turbine experience, a valid A&P license, FAA knowledge, and the ability to work flexible hours including overtime and on-call rotations. Compensation includes a starting salary of $78,287–$113,480 with a 20% geo modifier, IA stipend of $2,080 and a $12,500 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Two years turboprop and/or turbine powered fixed-wing experience.
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
• Valid State issued driver's license.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge.
• EMS systems, aircraft maintenance systems, records and planning.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
• Must be acceptable under the FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull 100+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and status updates to Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory checks, update equipment tracking logs, and document expenditures.
• Document service paperwork and FAA information; adhere to policies and security standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment for AMTs and flight crews.
• Coordinate with departments, vendors and team members for efficient operations.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and operations team.
