West Star Aviation is seeking a Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician at our Millville, NJ facility. You will lead a team of technicians to deliver high-quality mechanical work, including removal/installation of panels, repair and sheet metal work, and system troubleshooting in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 8+ years in aviation maintenance and an A&P license, with strong leadership and customer-facing capabilities.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent and Airframe and Powerplant License are required.
• A valid driver’s license is ideal but not mandatory.
• Aircraft-specific factory training is preferred.
• 8+ years in aviation maintenance preferred; 4+ years in program-specific airframes.

Mansioni

• Lead the team to complete jobs and tasks with good judgment.
• Train and mentor technicians on projects.
• Supervise team members in daily work load and ensure schedule adherence.
• Perform general mechanical work on aircraft and related systems, incl. removal/installation of panels and components.
• Troubleshoot and evaluate systems and ensure FAA-compliant work orders.
