Job summary

Jobtailor, based in Phoenix, is seeking a skilled engineer to lead the implementation and support of air transport solutions for Honeywell Aerospace products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and provide technical support to customers.

The role requires a STEM degree, 6+ years in systems engineering, and proficiency in Java, C#, or Python. Strong problem solving and the ability to work both independently and in teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (STEM) from an accredited institution.
• 6+ years of experience in systems or application engineering.
• Minimum 1 year experience with flight management systems.
• Air Transport FMS experience with MD11, MD10, A320, A330, A340, A350, A380, B717, B757, B767, B777, B787.
• Navigation Database experience including AIRAC cycles.
• Aircraft Environmental Surveillance System (AESS) experience with A350 or A380.
• Experience with Windows sockets, TDP, UDP, Wireshark, InstallShield, license keys, and Excel macros.
• Customer Support experience with troubleshooting and providing explanations or solutions.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Continuous learning and self-development.
• Proficiency in Java, C#, or Python.
