Job summary

UKG is seeking a Principal AI Security Architect to lead the AI security program within the Application Security Architecture team in Nashville. This hands-on leadership role shapes how UKG evaluates, designs, builds, and governs secure AI-enabled systems at enterprise scale.

You will research emerging AI models and patterns, develop reusable security harnesses, and guide cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and governance to integrate responsible AI and secure SDLC practices

Qualifications

• 12+ years in software engineering or security architecture.
• Hands-on experience with ML/AI security and secure SDLC.
• Experience researching AI/ML systems, model integration, data pipelines.
• Strong development skills in Python and Java.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural leadership for secure AI adoption across application, platform, and product engineering teams.
• Research AI models, architectures, and workflows to identify risks and mitigations.
• Develop reusable AI security architecture patterns, reference designs, and checklists.
• Lead threat modeling and security design reviews for AI-enabled features.
