Job summary

CyberCoders, Inc. is seeking a Lead AI Platform Engineer to own and scale the internal AI platform, expanding LLM capabilities and enterprise integrations. The role also evolves the external MCP platform powering AI-native workflows and requires hands-on leadership to shape the technical roadmap.

You will design shared AI infrastructure, drive AWS Bedrock adoption, and mentor the AI & Automation team while staying deeply technical.

Qualifications

• 7+ years building production backend or full stack software.
• 2+ years building production LLM or agent-based systems.
• Deep AWS experience, with Bedrock strongly preferred.
• Strong TS/Node.js and/or Python development experience.
• Experience with MCP, A2A, or similar agent frameworks.
• Strong API design & distributed systems experience.
• Experience building platforms that other engineers build upon.
• Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into scalable technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Lead AI Platform Engineer

Location: Remote
Salary: $175,000 to $200,000 base + bonus

Requirements

• 7+ years of backend or full stack software engineering experience
• 2+ years building production LLM-powered applications
• Strong AWS experience (Bedrock preferred)
• TypeScript/Node.js and/or Python
• Experience with agent frameworks or protocols (MCP, A2A, etc.)

About the Role

We're hiring the first dedicated owner of our internal AI platform. Our AI assistant, built on the Vercel AI SDK and AWS Bedrock, is moving into production, while our external MCP-based agent platform is already live with early partner adoption.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you'll own the architecture, write production code, define the technical roadmap, and partner closely with executive leadership to shape the company's AI strategy. You'll also build the shared AI infrastructure that future automation initiatives are built upon.

Nice to Have

• Experience in AdTech, programmatic advertising, OOH, or DOOH.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 or Power Platform.
• Experience with Snowflake, Sigma, or modern analytics platforms.
• Open source contributions to MCP, agent frameworks, or related AI ecosystems.
