Job summary

CACI International Inc. seeks a Lead AI/ML Engineer (Computer Vision) to head a 3-person pod focused on designing, training and deploying state-of-the-art YOLO models for CBP-related FMV data in a hybrid Ashburn, VA environment.

You will lead data curation, annotation standards, and optimize inference performance using CUDA, TensorRT, and NVIDIA hardware while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen eligible for CBP background investigation.
• (3-year felony, 1-year drug of abuse & misconduct checks)
• Bachelor/Master/PhD in CS/DS/EE with AI/ML focus.
• Hybrid work ability for Ashburn, VA.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 3-person AI/ML engineering team and set technical direction.
• Diseño, entrenamiento y despliegue de arquitecturas YOLO personalizadas.
• Architect end-to-end training and inference pipeline.
• Define data annotation guidelines and curate production datasets.
• Optimize inference speed and accuracy (FPS, mAP).
• Collaborate with Video Streaming, Software, and Systems teams.
• Serve as primary POC in Agile/Scrum environment.
