Guardian Life seeks a Lead AI Engineer to architect, develop, deploy and support enterprise-scale Agentic AI solutions in the US. You will build AI systems using LLMs, RAG pipelines, model orchestration, and secure APIs to automate Guardian’s business processes and improve decision-making.

You will collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, infrastructure and product teams, mentor junior engineers, and evaluate emerging technologies to contribute to the enterprise AI roadmap.

About this job

• The employee serves as a Lead AI Engineer responsible for architecting, developing, deploying, and supporting enterprise-scale Agentic AI solutions.
• In this role, they build and implement scalable AI systems using Large Language Models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, model orchestration frameworks, Agentic frameworks, and secure API solutions. These systems automate Guardian’s business processes and improve decision‑making.
• They ensure AI solutions align with enterprise security, governance, and compliance requirements.
• The position requires advanced knowledge of machine learning engineering, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and various AI platforms.
• They collaborate cross‑functionally with data scientists, software engineers, infrastructure teams, product teams, and business partners to implement AI solutions that provide business value for Guardian.
• The role also includes evaluating emerging technologies, contributing to enterprise AI roadmap, and mentoring junior engineers. His work directly impacts operational efficiency, customer experience, and enterprise automation capabilities.

Salary Range:

$118,980.00 - $195,465.00
