Job summary

Amtex Systems Inc is seeking an accomplished software leader with 10+ years of experience to architect and deliver enterprise-scale applications. You will champion Python-based backends (Django, FastAPI) and modern frontends (React, TypeScript) while driving AI-enabled solutions leveraging LLMs, LangChain, and related AI tech.

Collaborate with executives to shape roadmaps, mentor engineers, and accelerate delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including architecting and delivering enterprise-scale applications.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python and modern backend development frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, or similar technologies.
• Strong experience developing modern frontend applications with React and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience building AI-enabled solutions using technologies such as LLMs, OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, RAG architectures, vector databases, AI agents, MCP frameworks, or similar technologies.
• Proven track record leveraging AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering practices to accelerate software delivery and improve code quality.
• Deep understanding of application architecture, APIs, distributed systems, databases, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and software security principles.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with experience partnering directly with executives, finance leaders, and senior business stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to influence technology roadmaps, lead cross-functional initiatives, and align engineering efforts with strategic business goals.
• Experience mentoring engineers and serving as a technical leader across multiple teams.
• Experience supporting financial systems, forecasting platforms, investment management solutions, or enterprise business applications is highly desirable.
• Strong ownership mentality with a history of driving improvements to products, processes, architecture, and engineering culture.
• Passion for leveraging AI and software engineering to solve complex business challenges and accelerate the transition to a sustainable energy future.
