Job summary

EY is seeking an AI Systems Engineer to own delivery, model serving, routing and observability for EY’s AI-native platform. You will manage CI/CD/CV pipelines, secure model execution, governance of assets, and multi-environment telemetry across cloud, on‑prem, edge and air‑gapped environments.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in DevOps/MLOps with production ownership of AI or high-throughput services, strong OpenTelemetry and observability experience, and a proven track record in compliant,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 8+ years in DevOps, MLOps, platform, or observability engineering with hands-on AI or high-throughput workloads.
• Hands-on DevOps including CI/CD/CV pipelines and GitOps tools for automated release and rollback.
• Hands-on inference/model-serving frameworks on GPU infrastructure.
• Strong experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Tempo/Jaeger and OpenTelemetry.
• Experience with API gateways and streaming request routing.
• Experience with FinOps tooling and quota/rate-limit enforcement.
• Familiarity with model registries and supply-chain scanning tools.
• Proven track record in compliant, secure AI/service infrastructure.
• Ability to define ownership boundaries and consumption contracts.

Responsibilities

• Own DevOps and delivery for AI workloads: CI/CD/CV pipelines and automated release into environments.
• Own governance and discovery for AI assets and model metadata.
• Own resource and cost management with tenancy and attribution.
• Own full observability stack: metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and evaluation tooling.
• Own OpenTelemetry collection and multi-tenant signal routing.
• Automate GitOps-based delivery with policy gates in pipelines.
• Link delivery and observability to drive deployment decisions and automated rollback.
• Ensure cost and telemetry are per-tenant and attributable.
