Job summary

A technology firm is seeking a Lead AI Engineer to design and implement AI agent systems, optimizing them for production readiness and reliability. The candidate will be responsible for developing workflows using LLMs, managing integrations with backend systems, and overseeing the design of voice agents and multimodal workflows. Candidates are expected to have over 6 years of experience in software engineering with a strong focus on applied AI, as well as expertise in AI APIs and production systems. This is a remote/hybrid position with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering, focusing on applied AI systems.
• Strong experience working with LLMs and AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.).
• Proven experience building production AI systems, operational reliability, and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Lead prompt strategy across models like GPT-4.
