Job summary

AEVEX seeks a Principal Aeromechanical Engineer in Tampa, Florida to lead design, development, and testing of aeromechanical systems for aircraft and spacecraft. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project completion, providing mentorship to junior engineers.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and over 10 years in a relevant engineering role. Excellent benefits include medical, dental, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in a progressive technical capacity within an engineering organization.
• Competence in solving Mechanics & Kinematics problems and Thermodynamics problems.
• Experience designing electronics products and understanding material properties.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of UAS products and subsystems.
• Evaluate performance of vehicle designs from concept to production.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
