Lead Advisor

Brighton Jones, the largest Registered Investment Advisor in the Pacific Northwest with offices nationwide, seeks a Lead Advisor to build and manage client relationships, design wealth management strategies, and lead a local service team.

Your Role
  • Acts as a Personal CFO for existing and new clients, delivering an exceptional experience and managing the comprehensive wealth management plan that supports their passions and purpose – their “Life Plan”.
  • Leverages internal and external resources to achieve client objectives in Investment Management, Estate Planning, Tax Planning, Risk Management, and General Planning.
  • Communicates Brighton Jones’s unique value proposition to prospective clients and establishes the firm as their trusted financial advisor.
  • Develops and expands relationships with centers of influence (e.g., attorneys and CPAs) to create additional business opportunities.
  • Cultivates deep relationships with custodial retail branches in collaboration with the national team.
  • Creates opportunities and represents Brighton Jones at public speaking and community events.
  • Leads a local service team to ensure high client retention and satisfaction with a relentless focus on remarkable service.
  • Supports the Business Development team in new client acquisition through participation in the sales process and generates referrals from existing clients.
  • Supports Brighton Jones’s mission by using objectivity, creativity, and passion to help clients, colleagues, and community members “live richer lives”.
  • Provides teammates with timely, candid, and constructive performance feedback; develops employees to their fullest potential and provides challenging opportunities that enhance career growth.
  • Assists in the development and presentation of training programs, including coaching team members on financial planning strategies.
Your Experience
  • Four‑year degree and the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designation.
  • 6+ years of financial and/or estate planning experience, preferably at a professional financial services company or wealth management firm.
  • Expertise in estate, tax, retirement, insurance, investment, and cash flow/capital needs planning analysis.
  • Unquestioned commitment to integrity in personal and professional activities.
  • Highly motivated with ability to function well in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Self‑starter by nature.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage heavy workloads and projects on time‑sensitive bases while collaborating with a tight‑knit team of professionals.
  • Position is in‑office, full‑time, exempt; a work‑from‑office culture with flexibility.
Compensation
  • Pay: $140,000 – $300,000 per year.
  • Profit share: Additional opportunities for discretionary year‑end profit sharing.
  • Equity: Restricted Equity Units granted at hire, with expedited opportunity to convert to Partner status at vesting.
