TeamHealth is seeking an experienced facility lead Advanced Practice Clinician to join the hospital medicine team at Doctors Hospital of Augusta in Augusta, Georgia. The role combines clinical leadership with hands-on patient care and an emphasis on developing a high-performing APC team.

Ideal candidates are NP or PA with GA licensure and a track record in hospital medicine leadership, mentorship, and collaboration with hospital leadership and physicians across the program.

Qualifications

• NP or PA with current Georgia licensure or ability to obtain.
• Minimum of 2 years of hospital medicine, inpatient, or acute care experience preferred.
• Prior leadership, charge, lead, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the hospital medicine service.
• Serve as the primary APC leader for the facility.
• Assist with APC recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and retention efforts.
• Support clinical quality, patient experience, and operational performance initiatives.
• Facilitate communication between APCs, physicians, hospital leadership, and TeamHealth.
• Participate in department meetings, committee work, and leadership discussions.
• Ensure adherence to clinical and organizational standards.

As the facility lead APC, you will serve as a key clinical and operational leader, collaborating closely with physician leadership, hospital administration, and TeamHealth operational partners to support quality patient care and a high-performing APC team.
