Job summary

Sentara RMH Behavioral Health Center in Harrisonburg, VA, is hiring a Sr. Behavioral Health Therapist for a newly established Adolescent partial hospitalization program.

This role leads daily operations for licensed and non-licensed therapists and coordinates care on the inpatient unit. The position requires a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field and Licensure as an LPC or LCSW, with at least 3 years of outpatient or inpatient experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
• LPC or LCSW licensure required.
• At least 3 years of outpatient or inpatient experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes and discharge plans.
• Assists clinical manager with scheduling, evaluations, competency development and orientation.
• Develops high quality therapy programming for inpatient and outpatient sites.
• Participates in team activities providing social services and discharge planning.
• Supports compensation and benefits discussions for staff.
