Job summary

Wipro Limited is seeking a Messaging Platform Engineer to administer Solace PubSub+ and IBM MQ across production and non-production environments. You will build, configure, deploy, and manage messaging infrastructure, while providing L3 production support in a 24x7 setting and driving automation efforts.

The role requires 5–8 years of experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Experience in financial services or regulated environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer, build, and maintain Solace PubSub+ and IBM MQ platforms.
• Configure, deploy, and manage messaging infrastructure (brokers, queues, topics, VPNs).
• Provide L3 production support for messaging services in 24x7 operations.
• Troubleshoot queue build-up, latency, connectivity, and integration issues.
• Automate deployment and ops using Jenkins, Git, Python, Shell, and CI/CD.
• Manage infrastructure lifecycle: installation, patching, upgrades, configuration, capacity, performance.
• Support containerized/cloud deployments with Docker, Kubernetes, ECS on Linux.
• Implement monitoring with AppDynamics and Elasticsearch for reliability.
• Manage messaging security: TLS/SSL, certificates, auth, secrets.
• Collaborate with app, network, infra, database, and security teams for resiliency.

Job Description

Required Skills and Knowledge:

• 1. Administer, Build, and maintain Solace PubSub+ and IBM MQ messaging platforms across enterprise production and non-production environments.
• 2. Build, configure, deploy, and manage messaging infrastructure including brokers, queues, topics, VPNs, clients, and messaging services.
• 3. Provide L3 production support for business-critical messaging services and participate in 24x7 operational support coverage.
• 4. Troubleshoot and resolve messaging issues including queue build-up, message latency, connectivity failures, throughput bottlenecks, and application integration problems.
• 5. Support platform automation, deployment, and operational efficiency initiatives using Jenkins, Git, Python, Shell scripting, and CI/CD pipelines.
• 6. Perform infrastructure lifecycle management including installation, patching, upgrades, configuration management, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
• 7. Support containerized and cloud-hosted deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, and Linux-based environments.
• 8. Implement proactive monitoring and observability using AppDynamics, Elastic Search, and enterprise monitoring platforms to ensure service reliability.
• 9. Manage messaging security including TLS/SSL configuration, certificate lifecycle management, authentication, authorization, and secrets management.
• 10. Partner with application, network, infrastructure, database, and cybersecurity teams to drive continuous improvement, resiliency, compliance, and operational excellence across messaging services.

Preferred Qualifications

• . Strong understanding of ITIL Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management.
• . Experience in financial services or other highly regulated environments.
• . Excellent troubleshooting, communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
• . Proven experience in automation, production stability, and operational transformation initiatives.
