Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social services, addictions, mental health or closely related health services field with 2+ years of post-Master’s degree professional experience in the addictions, therapy or counseling field required.
• Degree must be from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client assessments to identify history, current presentation, problem areas and treatment needs.
• Lead assigned group counseling, individual or family sessions using evidence-based modalities.
• Prepare and review initial treatment plans and progress notes as required.
• Coordinate with insurance carriers and referral sources as requested.
• Provide crisis intervention and aftercare planning for assigned clients.
• Document all client care timely and clearly.
