Job summary

Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center seeks an RN Seasonal Special Event staff to manage patients and provide nursing leadership during peak periods. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care in alignment with unit policies and patientCentered care principles.

The role requires a Texas RN license (or compact), with BLS and ACLS current, and a minimum of 3 years in Acute Rehab or related settings. Weekend and holiday availability, plus on-call flexibility, are expected.

Qualifications

• RN Seasonal Special Event staff must hold Texas license or a compact license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required and current.
• RN must have 3 years in Acute Rehab or related department.
• Must be able to float to other areas as needed and work weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manage patients admitted or seen for medical or surgical care.
• Provide nursing leadership and guidance to clinical staff.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care per policies.
• Collaborate with hospital staff and other departments to resolve care issues.
