Job summary

Architectural Fabrication, Inc. in Fort Worth, TX seeks an ACM Construction Foreman to lead field crews installing ACM panels, metal wall paneling, awnings, and related products.

You will read drawings, measure sites, supervise safety, and ensure projects meet plan and schedule. You will travel statewide, coordinate installations, train new installers, and maintain equipment while upholding our collaborative culture and high standards of workmanship.

Qualifications

• 2+ years Foreman leadership experience installing ACM and metal wall paneling, canopies, awnings, sunshades.
• Experience field measuring facades to record proper product fabrication sizes and layouts.
• Experience with hand tools and product alterations using shears, punches, rivet guns.
• Experience applying waterproofing sealants and caulking.
• OSHA 30 Certified.
• Ability to travel out of town, out of state, with overnight stays.
• Basic computer skills, including Google Drive, Docs, and Mail with the ability to use a tablet or cellular phone for time management procedures.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations with speed and accuracy.
• Ability to accurately read tape measures and construction drawings.
• Proven ability to effectively perform under pressure while problem solving.
• Certifications with aerial lifts and forklifts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install ACM and metal wall paneling, awnings, sunshades, canopies, and custom metal products per drawings and specs.
• Read blueprints and shop drawings to understand installation steps.
• Perform field measurements on job sites for fabrication sizes.
• Travel to project sites across Texas with overnight stays.
• Operate scaffolding, ladders, boom lifts, scissor lifts, and forklifts.
• Coordinate and manage installation of projects in/out of town.
• Train new installers and other foremen.
• Deliver fair assessments for crew evaluations.
• Maintain professionalism in the workplace.
• Be reachable to work outside normal hours as needed.
• Attend Foreman’s Meetings as scheduled.
• Ensure projects are completed safely and per plan.
• Maintain company-issued equipment and technology.
• Equip installers with necessary tools and information.
