Job summary

Anduril Industries in California is seeking a Lead Accountant, M&A Accounting to support its hyper-growth and global integration efforts. You will work with a dedicated team of M&A accountants to centralize acquisition-related accounting activities.

The role emphasizes hands-on integration, Day One readiness, and cross-functional collaboration with Corporate Development, Legal, Tax, and Finance. CPA or MBA preferred; U.S. export controls access applicable.

Qualifications

  • 5–7 years in accounting at lead/manager level or consulting roles; mix of in-house and consulting preferred.
  • Experience supporting M&A accounting, financial due diligence, or business integrations.
  • Strong ERP integration experience and IFRS familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE TEAM

We are looking for an exceptional Lead Accountant, M&A Accounting to help Andurilsupport its hyper-growth and scale our global integration efforts. Reporting directly to theDirector, M&A Accounting, you will be a key member of a dedicated team of M&A
accountants focused on centralizing M&A-related responsibilities from the broader AndurilAccounting department.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Actively support and partner with a dedicated team of M&A accountants incentralizing and executing all M&A-related accounting activities.
  • Lead and assist with pre-close Accounting and Tax due diligence for targetacquisitions.
  • Lead Day One post-acquisition readiness preparation, including accountingonboarding and integration planning of people, processes, policies, and technologyrecommendations for the acquired accounting team.
  • Travel on Day One post-acquisition to assist in delivering comprehensive overviewsof Anduril's people, processes, and systems to newly acquired accounting teams.
  • Lead and support preparation of closing balance sheets and supportingdocumentation. Lead detailed review of acquired entities' closing balance sheetswith key M&A and accounting stakeholders.
  • Prepare and draft final closing statements and supporting schedules.
  • Execute, support, and lead the opening balance sheet crosswalk process.
  • Support the hands-on integration of acquired accounting processes and activities.
  • Facilitate onboarding of new accounting team members to Anduril’s Oracle Fusionand broader boundary system ecosystem.
  • Provide hands-on operational and supervisory support, including temporarily fillingin for departed team members from acquired accounting teams as needed.
  • Coordinate and collaborate closely with key cross-functional teams includingCorporate Development, Legal, PMI, CorpTech, Tax, Technical Accounting, andGeneral Accounting.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5-7 years of progressive experience in accounting roles (Lead/Manager level) orconsulting roles (Senior/Supervisor/Manager level); a mix of both in-house corporate and consulting experience is highly preferred.
  • Highly developed IQ and EQ, with the communication skills necessary to navigatecomplex personnel integrations and cross-functional partnerships.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting M&A accounting, financial due diligence, orbusiness integrations.
  • Strong technical background with hands-on experience supporting the integration ofacquired business processes into ERP ecosystems.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to change in a high-growth,fast-paced organization.
  • Highly collaborative and hands-on professional who is eager to dive into the detailsto drive execution.
  • Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”) (or similarequivalent in other jurisdictions) is preferred.
  • CPA (active or inactive) and/or MBA is preferred.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled informationor facilities.
US Salary Range

$112,000 — $149,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
