Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a Lead Accountant to manage complex accounting activities across corporate and entity levels in Dallas, TX. The role requires ensuring accuracy, GAAP compliance, and strong internal controls while mentoring junior staff.

You will drive month-end close processes, analyze financial results, and partner with cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights for leadership. CPA is required and 6–8 years of experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
• CPA license required.
• 6–8 years of accounting/financial reporting experience.
• Experience leading complex accounting processes and mentoring staff.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex journal entries and reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate month-end and year-end closes across units.
• Develop process improvements and automation to increase efficiency.
• Provide financial analysis and variance analysis to leadership.
• Support audits and regulatory reviews.
• Mentor accountants and senior accountants.
