Job summary

AIRBORNE Tampa is seeking a skilled aircraft maintenance professional to perform troubleshooting, testing, modification, and repair of instrument, electrical, and electronic systems. You will work to company policies, FAA standards, and supplier manuals to ensure safety and reliability.

Expect to lead teams, read complex manuals, interpret drawings, and uphold quality while meeting maintenance deadlines. A valid A&P or PEMCO certificate and five years of heavy maintenance experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Airframe & Powerplant license or PEMCO Repairman’s Certificate.
• Five years of experience in heavy aircraft maintenance, preferably with an airline or MRO.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, drawings.
• Knowledge of FARs, ADs and Maintenance Manuals is required.
• Ability to lead and direct others with sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Shall perform work in his classification for a major portion of his working hours.
• Leads, assigns work to, and directs all work in conformance with classifications of employees.
• Instructs other employees in proper methods and procedures of performing jobs.
• Reads and interprets information, answers questions, reviews work in process, and checks completed work.
