Job summary

Air Transport International (ATI) is seeking a Lead Mechanic to oversee aircraft maintenance in compliance with FAA, manufacturer, and company requirements. The Lead Mechanic will schedule and adjust shifts, guide A&P staff, and ensure safe, efficient maintenance for 757/767 aircraft.

The role requires an A&P license, DOT/FAA pre-employment screening, and experience with heavy transport aircraft. Strong communication with customers and co-workers is essential; travel and passport eligibility may

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must pass DOT/FAA pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Experience with 757/767 aircraft.
Clear communication with customers and co-workers; stand, bend, and reach.
Experience with Parts 121, 125, 145; heavy transport aircraft preferred.
Airframe and Powerplant license (FAR 121.378a).
Must have or be able to obtain a valid passport.

Responsibilities

Overhaul, maintenance, and repair of airframe components and powerplants per manuals and orders.
Lead Mechanics monitor tasks, guide processes, sign for work, and manage Buy Back for assigned personnel.
Maintain awareness of defective parts and safe working conditions.
Monitor station requirements like housekeeping and area policing.
Perform tasks assigned by Supervisor or higher management.
Attend Company training classes as assigned.
