Job summary

Zaddy Solutions in Batavia, IL, is hiring a Shift Supervisor for our 3rd shift in a 24/7 operation. You will directly lead a dozen operators across multiple process areas, manage batch schedules, coordinate inbound materials, and ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field, or 5+ years leading teams in chemical processing.
• Continuous process experience required; polymer/coatings backgrounds helpful.
• PSM exposure preferred.
• Shift leadership in chemical/manufacturing roles with on-site decision authority.
• Experience with automated process controls beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Direct a crew of roughly a dozen operators across process areas
• Get ahead of reaction issues and process deviations and act when needed
• Set batch schedules, verify raw material inventory, coordinate inbound tanker unloads
• Watch process systems from the control room and enforce standards
• Document shifts, batch traceability, and deviations
• Plan manual work such as loading, sampling, and cleanout
• Own safety, housekeeping, and operating standards for the shift
