Job summary

Masterbilt Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor-1st Shift to lead manufacturing staff, organize workflow, and optimize day-to-day activities while controlling costs.

You will ensure products meet quality standards and safety requirements, and you’ll monitor performance and report on shift results. This role typically operates Monday–Friday with potential flexibilities to balance company and employee needs.

Qualifications

• Experience using various manufacturing machinery and tools (examples: CNC Mills, CNC Lathe, CNC Mill Turn, CNC Grinder, CNC Swiss)
• Proven Experience in Supervision and Coaching
• Measuring and Monitoring Processes and Implementing Process Improvements
• Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills
• Production Planning
• Computer literacy – specifically Microsoft Office Suite, MRP System (will train)

Responsibilities

• Supervise production staff and organize workflow to optimize day-to-day activities
• Maintain safe and clean work environment and enforce PPE usage
• Establish and enforce quality standards and monitor process metrics
• Plan, schedule, and assign parts, machines, and personnel; report shift results
• Coordinate between departments and act as a conduit between upper management and shop floor
• Oversee warehousing, shipping, receiving, and materials handling; manage inventory
• Identify cost reduction opportunities and drive process improvements
