Job summary

Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians in Palm Springs, CA is seeking a full-time, exempt 2nd Assistant Golf Professional to assist the Director of Golf with daily operations. You will supervise golf staff, manage tournaments, and teach lessons while ensuring accurate billing, inventory, and customer service across the club.

The role involves coordinating with departments, promoting club activities, and maintaining shop standards in a casino-resort setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• PGA Apprentice in good standing – 1st Assistant Golf Professional preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in administering POS revisions for golf and member/guest billing.
• Coordinate with Accounting on policy updates and implementation.
• Reconcile tee sheets, check-in, and payments; resolve discrepancies and track charges.
• Promote club golf activities and programs.
• Assist in creating lesson plans and provide individual and group instruction; maintain golf shop and assist merchandising.
• Coordinate golf outings, scorecards, and related materials.
• Monitor member scores, report handicaps to USGA and manage billing.
