Reliant Cleaning in Grand Haven, MI is seeking a Lead Custodian to supervise a cleaning crew and manage daily operations for commercial facilities. The role focuses on leadership, hands-on cleaning, and ensuring high standards of sanitation and safety.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a cleaning/maintenance context.
• Experience handling heavy cleaning equipment and hazardous cleaning chemicals.
• Knowledge of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and proper chemical handling.
• Demonstrated integrity and reliability in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cleaning team, providing guidance and support.
• Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning, etc.).
• Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects.
• Notify management of deficiencies or needs for repairs.
• Stock and maintain supply rooms; cooperate with staff and follow health and safety regulations.
