Job summary

Union General Health System in Blairsville, GA seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to participate in basic nursing care for OB, postpartum and nursery patients from admission through discharge.

The role includes performing CNA duties, keeping rooms clean and stocked, handling clerical tasks, answering phones and relaying messages to nurses, under the supervision of the nurses, Charge Nurse, and nurse manager. This is a full-time on-site position in Blairsville, GA.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• Up to 1 year of job related experience; maximum 2–5 years of recent related experience.

Non-nursing duties will include but not limited to performing CNA duties, keeping rooms clean and stocked, clerical duties as assigned, answering phones and relaying messages appropriately. This position is responsible to the nurses, Charge Nurse, and nurse manager.

Requirements:

Education - High School Graduate or GED

Experience: Minimum - Up to 1 year of job related experience

Maximum -2 - 5 years of recent related experience

Licenses/Certificates - Current ActiveCertified Nursing Assistant - State of GA - REQUIRED. BLS - must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
