Job summary

Think Environmental is seeking an LDAR technician to detect fugitive emissions at chemical plants, gas processing facilities and refineries under EPA Method 21. The role entails training in regulatory policies, monitoring procedures, component identification, and record keeping, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

The successful candidate will collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to verify leak repairs, perform routine inspections, and support LDAR program management

Qualifications

• EPA Method 21 leak detection experience preferred.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check, drug screen and physical.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work at heights.

Job Description

The primary responsibility of Think Environmental LDAR technicians is to detect fugitive emissions from equipment in chemical plants, gas processing plants and refineries per EPA Method 21. Our technicians are trained in LDAR regulatory policies, EPA Method 21 monitoring procedures, component identification and record keeping

Key Responsibilities

• Perform leak detection per EPA Method 21
• Make first attempts to repair leaking components
• Work with plant operations and maintenance to ensure successful leak repairs
• Perform other daily routine tasks as required

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

• TWIC Card is a plus
• Good verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to read and speak English
• Ability to perform work in adverse weather conditions (heat/cold, inclement weather)
• Ability to safely lift up to 60 pounds
• Ability to work at heights of 100 feet
• Ability to work overtime as required
• Valid driver's license
