HPC-Industrial, a Clean Harbors company, in Channelview, TX, seeks a Specialty Mechanical Technician to perform electrical heat treating and manage daily service line operations on site. You will ensure equipment operates safely, drive efficiencies, and document work, while maintaining strong customer relations.

The role requires at least 2 years in industrial cleaning, a high school diploma, knowledge of hydroblasting and vacuum truck equipment, and a valid HPC-Industrial driver certification.

HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, in Channelview is looking for a Specialty Mechanical Technician to join their safety conscious team!The Specialty Mechanical Technician is responsible for performing electrical heat treating by utilizing various heat treat methods. The Specialty Mechanical Technician the daily operations of the service line crew. This includes responsibility for the proper operation of equipment, driving operational efficiencies at the work site and ensuring accurate documentation related to the job is completed in a timely fashion. Ensures compliance with all Company policies/procedures and maintains/improves good customer relations by providing quality, timely industrial cleaning services. • Must be able to wear protective clothing or equipment. This includes, but is not limited to Nomex coveralls, a back belt, slicker suits, rubber boots, a fresh air breathing mask and escape pack and a hard hat;

• Must be able to work under extreme climate conditions (excessive high heat index of 95+ degrees Fahrenheit, 98% humidity and subzero weather conditions) relative to geographic location;

• Must be able to withstand exposure to dust) chemical and environmental), fumes (chemical and fluids), exhaust and highly pressurized fluids.

What does it take to work for HPC-Industrial?

• Minimum 2 years, verifiable service within the industrial cleaning industry;

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent;

• Strong knowledge in the operation of equipment used in Hydroblasting and vacuum truck;

• Strong communications and interpersonal skills;

• Current certification as an authorized HPC-Industrial driver;

• Mechanical aptitude and experience troubleshooting HPC-Industrial equipment is preferred.
