LDAR Site Supervisor

Company: PROtect LLC

Location: Bellingham, WA (nested site)

Position Purpose: Responsible for supporting company activities related to Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) and Inventory and managing the BWON programs. This position recognizes customer opportunities, plans, executes and supports new and complex client projects, continuously improves service offerings and ensures compliance with regulations. The LDAR Supervisor oversees planning and preparation of all such activities to ensure they are carried out safely, reliably and efficiently, and develops, motivates and directs Inventory personnel in effective fugitive emissions monitoring.

Essential Functions and Basic Duties
  • Providing coaching and mentoring to help team members reach goals, assessing competencies, and supporting performance reviews.
  • Coordinating and scheduling project meetings, updating status reports for internal and client stakeholders.
  • Reviewing Job Safety Assessments, ensuring proper safety equipment and training, and supporting onboarding.
  • Leading quote development and collaborating with account managers on final customer presentations.
  • Promoting company culture and identifying obstacles to success regarding customer opportunities.
  • Recognizing customer opportunities and coordinating workload with other divisions.
  • Providing technical expertise and support for growth initiatives.
  • Delivering data, database and calibration records to the Environmental Team for LDAR reporting.
  • Managing supplier accounts for calibration gas, monitoring equipment, and leak tags.
  • Developing, maintaining and improving SOPs for all LDAR/BWON services.
  • Working closely with experts on development and presentation of products and services.
  • Maintaining communication with LDAR Manager, Engineering Manager and Sr. Vice President, Risk and Compliance.
  • Planning LDAR staff travel to reduce costs.
  • Providing backup support to the LDAR Manager on job sheets, time sheets, and expense reporting.
Education/Certification

Bachelor’s degree preferred in engineering, science or a technical field.

Required Knowledge & Experience
  • 7–10 years of management experience or equivalent in environmental or LDAR services.
  • Demonstrated program and project management experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Advanced knowledge and operational proficiency in Leak Detection equipment.
  • Strong understanding of EPA and state environmental regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to document, inventory, tag and manage projects.
  • Knowledge of general chemical/petrochemical and manufacturing processes preferred.

Physical Activities and Requirements

Occasional site visits, travel as needed. Ability to sit for long periods, view computer screens for extended times, speak and listen clearly, and read accurately. Must handle fine visual tasks, maintain safety orientation, and be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. May be exposed to loud noises, wet, humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic chemicals, and extreme temperatures. Requires climbing, working at heights, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, standing for long periods, walking, pushing, pulling, repetitive motion, confined spaces, and working near moving mechanical parts or electrical components.
