Job summary

PROtect, LLC, based in Norco, LA, is seeking a skilled LDAR MOC Technician. This role involves supporting refinery operations by managing changes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and performing compliance inspections under EPA Method 21.

The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in LDAR, strong knowledge of EPA regulations, and the ability to work independently in the field.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of LDAR experience in a refinery or chemical plant.
• Strong knowledge of EPA regulations including Method 21.
• Ability to work independently outdoors in industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Identify and process completed MOCs in the field.
• Add, update, and remove equipment from LDAR databases.
• Perform EPA Method 21 and related inspections.

Skills

LDAR experience in refinery or chemical plant environments

Knowledge of EPA regulations (Method 21, 40 CFR 60/63)

Experience with BWON and Consent Decree programs

Ability to interpret P&IDs

Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word)

Tools

Portable analyzers (TVA)

Electronic data collection systems
