Job summary

Onterris is seeking an LDAR Field Technician to perform inspections of facilities in the Oil and Gas Industry to identify and quantify hydrocarbon gas leaks and vents. The role involves coordinating to sites with maps and GPS, calibrating equipment, collecting emission data, and preparing field reports, with 12-hour days and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Experience in Oil and Gas industry; preference for natural gas processing/transmission facility experience.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office; Android OS experience.
• Able to work 12-hour shifts (days only).
• Valid driver's license required.
• Degree or diploma in engineering technology or related technical field is preferred; related hydrocarbon detection experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating and navigating to facilities using maps and GPS.
• Calibrate and maintain field equipment.
• Operate various detection and measurement technologies under supervision.
• Collect and record emission data.
• Prepare field reports as required.
