Job summary

PROtect, LLC is seeking an Emissions Monitoring Technician (LDAR) to support compliance at industrial facilities. The role involves field monitoring of valves and pumps, data collection, and working with plant teams to identify leaks and ensure accurate reporting.

Ideal candidates have 6+ months of LDAR or related experience, basic computer skills, and a valid driver's license. The position offers a stable schedule and opportunities to advance into lead or supervisor roles, with training on

Qualifications

• 6+ months of LDAR or related industrial/environmental experience
• Basic computer skills (Excel, handheld devices, data entry)
• Strong attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Monitor valves, pumps, and components using EPA Method 21
• Complete assigned routes accurately and on schedule
• Identify, tag, and track leaks for repair and re-monitoring
• Maintain accurate documentation for compliance reporting
• Calibrate and troubleshoot handheld analyzers
• Ensure monitoring equipment is functioning properly
• Support re-monitoring of repaired components
• Work with plant operations and maintenance teams
• Communicate findings clearly and professionally
• Identify opportunities to improve compliance and efficiency
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
