Job summary

Insight Environmental offers a full-time Environmental Technician role in Rosemount, MN. You will inspect client sites to help meet compliance standards, monitor operations, and perform LDAR tasks while maintaining safety and integrity.

No prior experience is required, but related experience is a plus. The role includes benefits, 40-hour weeks, and a strong team culture. Ability to travel and lift equipment is needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; an Associates or Bachelors degree preferred for advanced roles.
• Ability to quickly learn environmental compliance requirements of 40 CFR Part 60 and state LDAR rules.
• Experience reading P&IDs and troubleshooting instrumentation.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with peers, managers and customers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to learn environmental databases.

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental compliance inspections at client sites with air monitoring equipment and data collection tools.
• Supervise and conduct environmental inspection, monitoring and testing.
• Conduct LDAR inspections using a Flame Ionization Detector (FID).
• Manage the LeakDAS environmental database and LDAR records.
• Maintain LDAR component and piping/diagrams identification.
• Prepare periodic reports and maintenance work orders.
• Participate in weekly compliance and safety meetings.
• Perform optical gas imaging inspections as needed.
• Handle other duties as assigned.
