Job summary

Topsarge Business Solutions seeks a Craft Master Instructor/Writer to lead classroom and dockside training on maritime systems, Rules of the Road, and vessel operations at Joint Base Langley-Eustis (on-site).

The role requires hands-on instruction, lesson development, and coordination of simulator and pier services, with experience in military or maritime training environments preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 12 years of deck operations experience in US Navy/Coast Guard/Army or Merchant Marine service preferred.
• Qualified as an LCU-1600 Craft Master.

Responsibilities

• Instruct in classrooms, shops, and on vessels for maritime topics.
• Edit, plan, and develop lesson plans and training materials.
• Direct movement of Landing Craft Utility (LCU) in amphibious scenarios.
• Lead and supervise training for LCUs with 10+ students.
• Maintain safety and compliance with maritime procedures.
