Job summary

Thriveworks in Richmond, VA seeks provisionally licensed LMSWs pursuing Virginia licensure to provide a mix of telehealth and in-person sessions. You will join a clinician-led team delivering evidence-based care to a large client base in a hybrid work model.

The role requires board-approved LMSW status, independent licensure pursuit in Virginia, and 25+ weekly sessions with 30 hours of availability. Excellent collaboration with supervisors and a flexible schedule are expected.

Qualifications

• Approved by the board as an LMSW.
• Must be seeking independent licensure and living in Virginia.
• Must reside within 45 minutes of the Richmond office.
• Graduate of an approved 60-credit hour program.
• Graduate or post-graduate work experience in a counseling setting treating depression and anxiety.
• Graduate or post-graduate work experience conducting intakes and diagnosing under DSM-5 supervision.
• Consistently available to clients for a minimum of 25 sessions with 30 hours of availability weekly.
• Open to treating couples and children.
• Confident working with telehealth and EHR tools.
