Boston Medical Center is seeking a Social Worker MSW/LCSW to join the Care Management team. The role provides direct counseling, psychosocial assessments, and referrals across units, with an emphasis on crisis intervention and family support.
The position includes supervision of graduate students and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to plan ongoing discharge needs and community referrals, ensuring compassionate care throughout hospitalization.
The Social Worker MSW/LCSW is a clinician responsible for social work services for patients in various units of the Medical Center as well as serves in a consultative role to staff on the units in the medical center whenever needed for patient care. The Social Worker MSW/LCSW works as part of the interdisciplinary team caring/assisting patients and families to cope with plans and decisions that need to be made before, during and after hospitalization. Compensation Range: $60,500.00- $88,000.00 This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, skills, and certifications/licensures as they directly relate to position requirements; as well as business/organizational needs, internal equity, and market-competitiveness.
