Under direct supervision of a Professional Engineer, use engineering knowledge to perform routine engineering projects/assignments requiring limited judgment within the defined methods, procedures, and practices for the application of standards and criteria necessary to fulfill the experience requirement for pursuit of a licensure as a professional engineer.

The role involves modeling in support of SCM design, quantifying and reporting SCM performance, and providing technical support for crafting policy and development review. The candidate will also participate in construction plan development, specifying details, estimating cost, and maintaining schedule, as well as applying code and permitting requirements.
$34.44 - $43.74 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, with the ability for a 60% telework schedule per week after initial training.
Verification of education will be conducted on the top candidate.
A criminal background investigation will be conducted on the top candidate.
Travel to multiple locations may be required subject to the City of Austin Driver Safety Program.
