ABM Industries seeks a Yard Manager to oversee daily organization, material control, and logistics of the on-site laydown yard for electrical projects. You will ensure materials are received, staged, stored, and issued efficiently to keep crews working smoothly.
The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and experience with hand tools and safety procedures. Cleanroom exposure and contamination control may be necessary depending on project needs.
Yard Manager is responsible for the overall daily organization, material control, equipment management, and logistics of the electrical contractor’s on-site laydown yard. This role ensures that electrical materials (conduit, wire, switchgear, light fixtures, fittings, and pre-fab assemblies) are accurately received, safely staged, securely stored, and efficiently issued to field crews to maintain uninterrupted project workflow. Coordinate daily deliveries and maintain an up-to-date stock of materials.
